Just got done watching "The Last Mimzy", it was quite nice. In fact, there were multiple Pink Floyd references throughout.

Another one good for music lovers is "Open Season".
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

agree with open season! all paul westerberg was a great fit for that film! the curious george soundtrack really made that movie too! seems more and more kid movie makers are making the soundtracks something that all can enjoy... i cant forget to mention finding nemo, ratatouille, basically all the disney/pixar joints

I dig most of the animated movies, especially the Pixar ones. Those guys are the cream of the crop now.

I also saw The Last Mimzy recently. Not bad.

Loved Ratatouille and enjoyed Cars (up to the fourth time my son wanted to see it, then it got a tad repetitive). I could not make him watch Curious George. He's seven and thinks CG is for younger kids

Another one I loooooved was Meet the Robinsons.

I think "Big Wave" plays in Surf's Up, but the movie was kind of meh otherwise.

We really enjoyed the first Shrek.

There is a part when Lord Farquad is in his bed sipping a martini talking to the mirror and he totally gets A BONER! I swear to God.

Pretty much all of the Studio Ghibli films are masterpieces but then, they aren't really for kids, children just might like them because they are animated. I can't imagine a 10 year-old fully understanding the philosophical and spiritual arguments in Princess Mononoke but it's cool that the films have the cross-over appeal for adults.

we watched that princess mononoke in one of my education classes (only because my teacher was oriental) and it was definitely not for kids... pretty cool how he was shooting peoples heads off with arrows but honestly that movie was so fuckin long theres no way a kid could sit through it... id never encourage kids to get into something thats totally bastardizing legitimate art the way that anime shit is anyway

    JUST about to say them.

But the Sandlot blows the Mighty Ducks out of the water. It's just a classic. Whereas the Mighty Ducks... if you didn't see them when you were younger you probably can't stand them.

In general, I find kid movies much better than grown-up movies.
