Love the fact that she is a NEKO CASE fan..you can hear the alt-country rock sound in one of her songs posted on her myspace page. I'm diggin this girl.

I just noticed she put up Loneliness.. That one kicked my ass live, especially when she has her pedal steel player with her. Sounds like whales and dolphins singing along with an alt-country-rock-yummy song. Is that a genre? ;)

I like Kristen's voice very much, listening right now. Thanks for the heads up Zanne. ( and yahamita, I also love Neko, she's wonderful!) ;)

Zanne, Thanks for posting the links. Absolutely terrific. Definitely will be at The Showbox early so I can get a good spot to listen and watch Kristen Ward's set. Can't wait to pick up her cds.

Glad you like it.. It will be nice to have some folks come in with an interest in Kristen instead of just the headliner with that one guy.. what's his name? Oh yeah, Mike McCready. =P I'm sure it would make Kristen feel all warm and fuzzy to see people she's never met or seen before singing the lyrics to her songs along with her.

    Peace

She is having a cd release party friday at the high dive and Jeff Fielder is also playing :)
I bought both of her CDs at FTM except it was so hard to get them open that I only had her sign one of them, I guess I will have her sign the other Friday.

    Very talented.
