On a new song called "With You Again". She put the song up on her MySpace page here:

http://www.myspace.com/kristenwardmusic

And you can buy the CD called "Drive Away" that the song is from here:

http://www.kristenward.com/

The whole album is great. You can pick Mike's guitar solos out easily on this track.

Kristen will open for Flight To Mars this year on May 3rd, so get your tickets!

Peace and Love

  • Pretty sweet solo.:)

    Pretty good song too.

Funny you picked that up.. Have you seen her before? That was my first thought the very first time I saw her play.. That she and her music are mature beyond her years.

No, this is the first time I'm hearing about her and her music, would love to see her live, but at the moment the distance is a bit too much...

Buy the record.. all the stuff you can buy for .99 cents each is from her first album.. and while there are a couple of songs I absolutely die for on there, I like the new one better. There are 2 songs from the new one on her myspace page, "Drive Away" and the one with Mike. Just wait till you hear Shoot Me Down or Loneliness, or my latest favorite called Let Me Go. I asked for it to be played on May 3rd, I hope to GOD she plays it.

Wish me luck! I can't wait to meet you, too, tho as PJ fans, we've probably met before and just don't know it yet. ;)

    Peace

You must be enjoying the music with all that bumping you're doing. =)

I wish you could make it out there this year. Are you absolutely positive that you can't? Trust me, it's more fun than the Vic was.. and I'm not kidding. But then, you'd already know that.

I just noticed she put up Loneliness.. That one kicked my ass live, especially when she has her pedal steel player with her. Sounds like whales and dolphins singing along with an alt-country-rock-yummy song. Is that a genre? ;)

Zanne, Thanks for posting the links. Absolutely terrific. Definitely will be at The Showbox early so I can get a good spot to listen and watch Kristen Ward's set. Can't wait to pick up her cds.

Glad you like it.. It will be nice to have some folks come in with an interest in Kristen instead of just the headliner with that one guy.. what's his name? Oh yeah, Mike McCready. =P I'm sure it would make Kristen feel all warm and fuzzy to see people she's never met or seen before singing the lyrics to her songs along with her.

    Peace
