Due to some house projects I want to finish up, I haven't read in more than a week. My brain is starting to turn to mush. :?
All done with the house projects(For now, anyway :?), so I decided to tear through some books I've been waiting to read.
I hope to finish this up this weekend:
It's a pretty good read, although Kaku does like to wander off topic from time to time.
I'm also reading this:
Yes, it's a kid's book, but it's a freakin' fantastic kid's book! I read a couple books in this series when I was younger and loved it, and decided to pick up the whole series for $1 a book while visiting a bookstore on vacation. I intend to finish this book today."Where's KW?"

My uncle recently recommended Hiassen to me, whose work I've never read. I picked up Basket Case, though I'm not sure when I'll get around to reading it.
Have you read much of his work?"Where's KW?"

I've read a lot of his stuff, and prefer the older novels. But this new one is a return to older form for him.
I'd recommend these:
Tourist Season (1986)
Double Whammy (1987)
Skin Tight (1989)
Native Tongue (1991) (this might be the best one)
Stormy Weather (1995)
I've read a few of his newer ones, and honestly, they kinda blend together. The older ones are spectacular though.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -

I just finished Tourist Season a couple of weeks ago... That was my first time reading him... I'm the type that starts from the first book and goes forward in case there are any recurring characters or themes. Looking forward to the next in line.If there were no Angels would there be no sin?0 -
Don't you just hate it when you start reading a book and realize you skipped a book in the series? Granted I have had to skip all around Paul Cleave's books due to dates of publication in the US, but now that I have the first two I wanted to read them in order since there is a common thread... Brightside is I got a preview I guess...
So next up is Paul Cleave's "The Cleaner"... Then I can go back to "The Killing Hour" (which was his first book actually with a recent re-write)...If there were no Angels would there be no sin?0 -

I got bored at work so I decided to finish this book. That's 22 books down for the year -- only 38 more to hit my goal!"Where's KW?"
