    Such a smooth whiskey!

I would take Maker's over Knob Creek any day.

Well if you check out the label on CR it says "up to 70% neutral spirits" meaning Vodka as a filler. CR is the worst attempt at whisky there is. They just have the marketing game figured out. Maker's Mark is the way to go, and the Elijah Graig 12 is in the middle for me, but after Marker's I'll take a good Bushmills.

    Peace, J

what?! crown is really good. we killed a bottle at bridge school. im not huge on all the specifics of alcohol but i like the way it was smoothly FLOWin down my throat!

Though I am not a very educated bourbon drinker, I thought this article would be of interest to you all:

Seems like a fun way to spend a road trip or vacation.

I looked long and hard at a bottle of Maker's tonight but ended up choosing Beam black label.

Can someone here convince me that I could've made a better choice?

I just find beam to be a very blah tasting bourbon. Aftertaste is almost non-existent...and it kinda has a bite to it at first. But gets better as it finishes. Not in my top 7, but not complete garbage either. Best used for a mixer IMO, not neat.

Maker's is soooo smooth and sweet. That sweet caramel / oak clean aftertaste is what I love about MM. But that's what I would expect from a small batch distiller.

The best ever! 3 ice cubes, Maker's over the top, splash of water to get it all working together. Sit back and enjoy! Marker's is the only hard beverage I'll drink. Red wine, SA Boston Lager, and Maker's. Peace, J

    thats what i'm talking about
