For some reason, I have trouble deleting email messages, no matter how unimportant they are. And sometimes I'll get newsletters or coupons, things for which I've signed up....and even after they'll be expired or are obsolete information, I STILL keep them.

Am I the only one with this problem? lol

I'm the same way - I delete e-mails when my inbox is full, and that's it.:p I always convince myself I'll read them again sometime, sorta planning nostalgia in advance or something, but I never do.

I'm actually the extreme opposite. I can't stand to have an e-mail hanging around after I've read it. If its a coupon or something I print it, and delete it immediately.

Wow, that makes me feel a little better! lol :D

I actually have an absurd amount of newsletters/advertisement/job postings in my inbox that I've never even OPENED. At the time I receive them, I just think "oh, well, I'll get to that later. But once it falls off of the first page, it's gone to me. Yet I still can't go through and just do a mass deletion, because I worry that there'll be something important...lol. The number of unread messages (that I tell myself I will get to some day) is embarrassingly large.

you know what i've done with stuff like that, is make a separate mailbox for them, as soon as they come in i dump them in there, so they aren't cluttering my inbox. and then when i have time i just go thru and read/delete.

still a sap for the other stuff though haha

I have not deleted any non-junk email from my inbox at work since I started 7 years ago. I just checked and I have over 16,000 emails in it. I was told by IT I have the third largest inbox in the company.

I'm terrible for checking and deleting emails, I've usually got a couple of hundred sitting in my in box. I just can't be arsed to go through them all, it always seems like such a chore. There always seems to be more interesting things to do online than going through heaps of junk mail!

    really? Whoa!

I save some e-mails from friends/family, and the e-mails with the passwords from websites! (and then I still forget them) but no, right now my inbox is empty.

I just looked to see how many I had... 11,556. That's too many, right? I save funny jokes from people, business things, birthday wishes. It's sort of pathetic.

I just saw one from 2005 from the old Message Pit. Whoa.

Cherish your emails because I have emails from a brother who is now deceased that I'm glad I haven't deleted. There is a purpose and reason for everything we do.

I do this too, for some reason. Just checked, I have 36 emails in my inbox right now, and most of them I've marked "important" even though I doubt they are  You never know when you're gonna need them! :?
