i actually prefer sunrise....it's always so tranquil and peaceful at that time of day......AND, if i'm up for a sunrise, I'm probably fucked up enough to think it's the best one I've ever seen

The quality is pretty crappy. I took this on my hitch hiking trip in the US. We had just slept in Bar Harbor and did some hiking in Acadia National Park the day before. A guy gave us a ride to Camden, ME. We were very lucky because just as we got in his car there was a heavy storm. When we arrived in Camden, the storm was just over. The electricity was out in the entire town. We walked down main street and the first people we met were a young beautiful hippie girl and a funny dude. The girl started talking to us (we later found out she backpacked in Australia and New Zealand for 7 months, she was 19), when she heard our story she immediately offered us a place to sleep. After we were settled in, a few of her friends came over. We all went swimming together. It was so much fun. Then after that they invited us to a BBQ (vegetarian BBQ ) at a friend's house. The thing is, he lived in a old coffin factory. On the way to his house we already saw these beautiful skies and when we arrived her friend took us to the roof of this old factory where we had a beautiful view, this big lake, trees, and a beautiful purple, pink and orange sky. I took the picture, my brother's on the left, then coffin boy, the girl who took us in and a friend of hers. Then we ate, talked, drank beer and had so much fun. Definitely one of the most beautiful nights in my life.
