The winter classic was awesome. I could have went but I absolutely had to be at work today. The possibilty of being trapped in a snow storm would not have been good.

BTW, Crosby is the man. Yeah, he bitches a lot. But he plays in a garage league with neanderthal referees.

Don't get me wrong, I love hockey and I do love the NHL, but some of the officiating is enough to make you scratch your head.
    I love my female wife...
we sit around and wonder exactly why our marriage should feel threatened by gay marriage

Nicer weather indeed, but unfortunately in choosing the Rose Bowl, you are forced to watch football. Nice seats though.

The problem people have with Crosby is the diving and embellishment that go with the whining. That kid is as strong on his skates as anybody who has ever played the game yet he spends more time sliding on the ice than anybody in the league. I think that they should give Crosby a diving penalty every time his ass touches the ice. If he ever stops diving he would be that much more fun to watch.

It got over a 32 rating in Buffalo!! 71,000 fans at the stadium, plus 11,500 in their arena watching on the jumbotron, plus a 32 rating. That's insane.
    8/22/98 - Toronto
    8/26/98 - Cleveland
    10/7/00 - Detroit
    4/25/03 - Cleveland
    6/23/06 - Pittsburgh

Buffalo and their fans did a great job!!! .......the only part that bothered me was how it looked from the side view on tv ......I don’t really like the look of seeing the empty field next to the rink ....I much prefer the normal view with the fans packed in tight next to the rink.
