Bowl Games Or Winter Classic?

Are you watching the college football bowl games or the winter classic hockey game between the penguins and sabres?

I for one can't wait for the winter classic. it's my team, the pens, and it will be cool to see the game played outdoors in a football stadium.

    the 2003 game in Edmonton was great to watch

    but what was lacking was atmosphere from the fans, because it was -25 C

    the fans should be into this game more

    I'm with you on that jimmy. I just don't see why i should care who wins the red roof inn bed bugs bowl. I like the nfl, but im true blue hockey fan and i cant wait!!

    all I would need is the puck to fall into a hole in the ice and it would bring me back to when I was 10....Great way to wind down after a long night.

    the microphones for the crowd are really turned down on the NBC broadcast versus the CBC broadcast

    the crowd noise is loud and raucous on CBC's broadcast, I don't know why NBC is doing this, you miss some of the great atmosphere on NBC

    we had it on at work and I made sure we were rocking The Ceeb, HNIC is so great the music gets me everytime I'm like Pavlov's hockey fan

    I watched the Winter Classic, but frequently flipped to the Mich/Fla game, which was the best bowl game of the day. I hope the NHL can continue this kinda marketing as hockey's still the best game no one watches.

    I watched the "Winter Classic". It was awesome!

    As far as Crosby being a whiner, I think there are tons of guys that whine in the NHL, but he seems to receive the most ire over it. I think he is just disliked by many because he was annointed as such a great player at an early age. There have been people I've talked to who can't stand him for this. It's as if they don't feel he should be praised so much until he has "served his time". Personally I love watching him play. You can watch and tell that this kid can do "special" things and his mentality for the game is through the roof.

    Winter Classic...no doubt about it!!

    the Collge Bowl games have gotten progressively worse, and the NHL is a much better game anyways, IMO.
