Going to Hawaii on 1/24/08 until 1/30/08. What should I do for fun?

    I would like to know good places to hike with rainforest/waterfalls, a good place to take surfing lessons, other good snorkeling spots, nice beaches people don't know about, where to rent scooters, etc.
    Any info is appreciated!

    Yeah, we booked months ago. Can't remember where though b/c it's been so long since we planned all of this. It should be fun though. It will be our first time there so we are both pretty stoked about going.

    I never made it to Sunset beach when I was there(or did I? anyone?)

    that is why I didn't go a week and a half later.. I don't want to be around that crazy stuff!

    Is the flight really almost 8 hours nonstop from Denver to Honolulu? If so, that blows!

    8 hours? I remember when I went there for PJ I flew from San Diego, I thought it was 5 hours at the most(I'm pretty sure it was a 4 hours flight)
    I hate sitting in places that long!

    nope, the tickets are nonstop and are about 8 hours each way... makes no sense...

    8 hours isnt that long. i flew from philly and 13 hours later i was in honolulu :]

    I'm back, and we had a BLAST!!!! Thank god it isn't too cold in Denver, or I'd be really depressed!
    What an AMAZING place, so damn beautiful! We even got to chat with Jon Lovitz(and that Jack Johnson guy too)

    PM me if you want to see vacation pictures, I posted like 300 on my myspace page!
