aaw c'mon! It was years ago! Long before I knew what they'd been up to as their day job. They never covered their school years on Underbelly did they?
I wouldn't know, being in Victoria!
First I knew about it was the day they were arrested out by Brighton Cemetary.
I wonder what Schapelle's old school friends would say about her now?
I really have always wondered about the brother and whether she took the fall for him.NOPE!!!

oh i forgot about it being banned in vic! you must have seen it tho. and god knows why it was banned, every single person in it who isnt dead or in jail is doing their best to cash in on it now!!
besides - some of the characters were pretty hot ... i spose they were just actors tho
and back to shapelle - her whole family is a bit dodgy i think - she just had the bad luck to get lumped with it in that country - perhaps they thought a pretty young girl could get it thru easier, or be able to bribe her way out ... bit of money, bit of under the desk stuff ... but really, as i said - the signs are everywhere - you'd have to be mad to even try and get away with it, especially for just a bunch of pot stuffed in a boogieboard bag!!! how on earth is that worth years of pissing in a hole in the ground and washing yourself with a bucket of smelly water???impatience is a gift ........0 -

Yeah, no.I've read the book, which was still on the shelves in K-mart right through, guess the judge figured none of us read. I saw one episode when I was up in NSW visiting cate but otherwise I've not seen it. I think, well lets just say I have access to a copy.
I just haven't bothered to watch it yet. I mean I've been reading it all in the newspapers for the last 5 years, not to mention one of the blokes getting wacked around the corner from my house. You'd have to be deaf, dumb, blind and completely oblivious to not know about it here. I'd love to know how they even managed to get a jury pool of unbiased peers together for the last two trials.
I think Damien Walsh Howling is lovely.zenith wrote:and back to shapelle - her whole family is a bit dodgy i think - she just had the bad luck to get lumped with it in that country - perhaps they thought a pretty young girl could get it thru easier, or be able to bribe her way out ... bit of money, bit of under the desk stuff ... but really, as i said - the signs are everywhere - you'd have to be mad to even try and get away with it, especially for just a bunch of pot stuffed in a boogieboard bag!!! how on earth is that worth years of pissing in a hole in the ground and washing yourself with a bucket of smelly water???
Yes, I think that's probably what happened. Perhaps even she thought she was protecting her brother and once she'd said, "That's mine" couldn't go back on it. The brother was under 18 at the time wasn't he? I think if the brother had been caught with it, had admitted to it being his that he'd be in the same situation as some of those boys in the Bali 9 by now.
Just don't think they thought it through. Denpasar airport is not really the place to be buggerizing around thinking you're dealing with a lax customs system. They have VERY BIG guns just for starters!!! Seriously though, if she genuinely didn't have anything to do with it, well I feel so sorry for her. What a shitty way to live your life? I feel sorry for her anyway. The punishment is over the top for the crime, especially given how they treat murderers and terrorists.NOPE!!!

This constitutes news only as much as Maddy McCann does.
Lots of people get caught for drug trafficking, and lots of people go missing.
Damn media beat-ups. The next time I see this pop up on the front 5 pages of my herald again, I'm gonna cancel the friggin subscription.Binary solo..0000001000001111000011100
