Why I HATE MTV...it's nothing but corporate music

i think this is the first thread about the vma's. This is bad for them cuz usually there's at least 2. Even though it's mostly negative. I didn't like it. I saw parts. Britney's opening sucked. Too much going on in the show.

yea but did they show the whole perfomance? i hear there was a fight between kid Rock and tommy lee. Justin timberlake kept saying mtv should be playing more videos.

Just watched it for a 2nd time. Stoned maybe... She just looked very unsure of herself or possibly uncomfortable? This is coming from someone who was never a fan but definitely follows her exploits.

not only can she not sing. she cant lyp-siNc. and people say the reason performers lip synch is because they put on a show and dance. well she cant dance. she couldnt shake. couldnt move. it looked painful for her to even bend a little. i like how all the rappers were like, uhhhh, this is dumb.

now i thought cris angel was supposed to have done something to where it was gonna be cool like a magic act. and she would dissappear? that would have been cool. or seen her sawed in half. like in saw1,2, and 3

fitty sent was there and j. timberlake was bussin some raps wit his azz. I like watching it for the titties. you never know what lil kim is gonna bust out wearing and all the other chicks gotta compete for a lil spotlight so ya know what i'm sayin'

pretty much what i watch it for. it looked like nelly furtado was drunk at the pre show.

i only caught about 15 minutes of it live cause i was watching football but i dvr'd it so i can fast forward through all the commercials and save myself 4 hours. i did hear something about a fight between kid rock and tommy lee was that true?

Video Music Awards on MTV is like if the Nobel Prize was aired on Comedy Central.

MTV doesn't play music videos. How can they award something that's never been seen by anyone?

Why don't they have the Reality TV awards on MTV instead?

White people love nothing more than explaining to you how Wal*Mart, McDonalds, Microsoft, Halliburton are destroying the Earth’s culture and resources.

While the growth of multi-national corporations can be attributed to a number of complex social, economic and political factors, many white people prefer to take the word of two trusted sources: No Logo and AdBusters.

Published in 2000, No Logo has been responsible for more white person “enlightenment” than any book since the burning of the library at Alexandria. By reading this one magic book, white people are able to get a full grasp on the evils of multi-national corporations and then regurgitate it to friends and family.
