I don't watch American Idol, but I clicked on an article today on MSN that this boy did a bad job. He sang a bob dylan song. What pretty eyes he has.

    "Dreadlocks" perhaps, aptly named?

    I don't know anyone with dreads. It seems like a committed hair style because once you decide to change it, you have to lop it all off.

    I have a few friends with dreads...I had a few dreads (not my whole head - just about 3 dreads in the "under hair") but i cut them off after a year.

    they are cool...like ropes. and you can use essential oils to make them smell really good!! I love dreads. they make good handles.

    I knew some people with them back in the 90s. I tried to do it once in high school but it didn't come out right.

    I thin locks are amazing, however they just don't look right on him. Maybe 'right' is the wrong word, but they don't look as good on him. They're either too nice, or not wide enough, I can't decide.

    how do you even get dreads? I've heard you just don't wash your hair for a long time and they'll start forming, or you can get some wax thing and rub it thoroughly in your hair for days, maybe weeks. anyone know?

    I had to look it up on wikipedia and it sounded gross. I thought people would go have it done professionally. If he's not washing his hair, then Lizard and I don't want to be his Internet Grandma girlfriend.
