What the hell is that device Keamy is wearing?
How did the mercenaries survive "Smokey". The monster was so much more impressive (to me) in the beginning when he wasn't seen and made a bloody mess out of the pilot.
I didn't rewatch the episode to check, but the knife Keamy used made me think of the one young Locke picked from the items on the table.Brian0 -

3 THINGS
Hi folks-
Hope you're all well.
As I sit in yet another airport I thought I'd check in and let you know about a few things...
First, we just wrapped production on season 4! It was a crazy run to the finish line because, as some of you know, we got an extra episode added at the last minute. We were all scrambling to get everything done on time and actually ended up shooting three episodes simultaneously. Yikes. We were all running around asking what scene we were shooting from what episode, and shuttling to different locations to meet up w/separate crews. It was much craziness, but I give a lot of props to our producers and crew here in Hawaii who worked so hard to get it done. Hopefully, you all will think it's worth the effort when you see it.
Second, for some reason I've gotten more autograph requests than usual recently, so I thought it would be a good time to tell you the best way to go about it.
Please send a SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED(!) LARGE ENVELOPE with your return address on it. This very important. If I had to pay the postage for every photo I sent out, I might go broke! And if you live overseas, please include an international postage coupon that will cover the cost of airmail to where ever you live. If you do those things, I promise to do my best to get you a photo as soon as I can. Also, here's the address where you can send it:
Daniel Dae Kim
LOST Production Office
Hawaii Film Studio
510 18th Ave.
Honolulu, HI 96816
FYI, the entire cast can be reached this way, so if you have other requests as well, send them there.
Third, there's a new kid on the block! Rebecca Mader has started a MySpace page. It's totally legit, so if you're feeling lucky and ask really nicely, maybe you can be her friend. Here's the link:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=120289338
Head on over. She's super cool!
And one last note about fake profiles. Many of you are sending me links, asking me if an individual profile is real. I can't respond individually to every one of them, but if I don't specifically write about them, like I did with Rebecca above, please presume they are fake. I don't want to be the "MySpace police" (actually they should be a doing a better job of it themselves, IMHO), but I'll do my best to let you know about the real ones.
Okay, time to hop on the plane, but I'll be in touch again. I've got something else I want to tell you about...
Until then, aloha! This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

no lost next week? ugh. Hope tonight's episode is a good one.
I just found this thread - not that I looked before - but I am happy to see it, most people I know who watched it before stopped one or two seasons ago... I have no one to discuss it with!"I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me. Guaranteed."

Here's something interesting I found on a Lost fan site I go on.
We all know that there are a ton of Wizard of Oz references on the show.
Well today is L. Frank Baum's birthday and tonight's episode is called "There's No Place Like Home."- Busted down the pretext
