No no, the club supporters are really different then the supporters of the national team luckly enough.

I always have the feeling about Oranje supporters that it isn't to support the national team, but just to have a nice day to go out and act like it it's carnaval. I have to say that the supporters on the tournaments are most of the times better then the supporters that are coming to the qualification matches.

that's a kind of "sing when you're winning attitude". We were really wondering to see as lot of women and children in the stadium was like they were going to Walibi or something like that...
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

It is a bit "sing when you're winning attitude" yes. But that's only with the national team. ;)

The reason of the woman and children is that otherwise the stadium isn't filled, the national bond invites amateure clubs/youth teams to go to see the match. And the carnaval/walibi supporters off course ;)

It was always like that with the national team. People are spoilt and only intrested in the big tournament. Matches in qualification poule has on television around 1 million watchers. The semi-final against Portugal on the EC2004 had 10 million watchers. And you know that Holland only has 16 million people.

In another way it's better to fill up a stadium that way as to play in a ghost stadium. We have a little stadium in luxemburg with an approx. 9000 capacity and we'd be happy to fill it up even with such supporters. In normal games we have about 3000 spectators and it's very sad. We need a stadium like a mini kuip ;)

I say better play in a full stadium of real supporter with a capacity of 25.000 then fill it with it with the walibi supporters. :) Luxembourgh is on the good way, next times yours will get more points. ;)

-They were up against a very good team..

-They were nervous and started attacking without defending..

-They have an inexperienced, arrogant and weak minded manager..

-They have no knowledge of how other countries play football, as they all play in the domestic league...

-PLUS the league offers no chance to young homegrown talent...

-and, according to McClaren, 'The pitch were bad'...

They deserved to be left out. A pathetic campaign altogether.

Welcome in my world :D It's very cool to watch an Euro- or Worldcup without your Homecountry because you can enjoy it without any emotion you can watch it for the "beauty" of the game...

    1. True, I see Croatia coming very far on the EC tournament
    2. True, although it was a pity that England couldn't start with Terry, Rooney, Scholes, Owen and Ferdinand. That's alot of experience that could have been useful for this match.
    3. True, McLaren is an idiot. He should have started with Beckham.
    4. True, but if you play in the English Premier League then it doesn't mean that you have to loose of Croatia
    5. True, that's the whole problem of England. They all spend their money to foreigners who are stars allready, instead of putting money in their own youth.
    6. True, the pitch was bad. And yes, I thought Croatia played on the same pitch.

If you are not finished at the first above 2 places, then you don't deserve to be on the championship. :)

Germany is lucky cause Germany is a big country and brings always alot of fans with them, and that means alot of money for the local economy. :)

Im really believing now that we're gonna clock the league this season, the win against a villa side who were up for it and without Fabregas shows the bounding step up from last year.
I knew the signing of Gallas was a big deal, people kinda forgot about him after he spent the latter part of last term injured but now they know. Now Chelski the fuck know! & Clichy, my fucking word how he is looking superior to Ashley'GREED'Cole now.
The African Nations shit in January could mean the reintroduction of Senderos to take the place of Toure, that don't sit too well, really think Wenger may need to think about a signing or else play Diarra in the middle, or even Song there.
So many times I've seen bad tackles on Hleb, he's out injured now.

Groningen is a subtop team. Their goalies aren't great, so I am not surprised if they want another goalkeeper :)

But they seem to have ambitions. I've just see their Stadium and I'm impressed !!!
But it's good to hear that their goalies aren't that good so Jonathan Joubert will have big chances to play. Maybe he'll play for PSV after a season ;)
    Thanks

Yes they have a stadium for 20.000 people. If there is a chance that Holland & Belgium get the WC, then they will increase the stadium to 40.000 seats :)

the best goalkeeper in the world just signed a new deal with PSV. Gomes will stay till 2013, so I don't give him much chances. :D
