    Bayern?

    Arsenal's budget: €250 million
    PSV's budget: €50 million

So how does it feel to be kicked out by a team with this less money? As long as money rules the world, the Champions League, the European football competitions and the national leagues can't be taken serious.

    Semi-final CL:
    Liverpool
    ManU
    Chelsea
    AC Milan

    Semi-final Uefa Cup:
    Sevilla
    Osasuna
    Espanyol
    Werder Bremen

Do you really think this teams would be there if money didn't rule the world? Where is the time that teams like Steaua Bukarest, PSV, Benfica, Hamburger SV, Feyenoord and Ajax could win the EC1. Something has to change in Europe.

yeah I get you but this isnt just a football problem. For starter though the league system of the Champs Lge should be removed, it enables big clubs to have an off night but still progress.

    West Ham 1 - Chelsea 4

the hammers played really well in the first half, unlucky to be behind. the second half was the usual shit. Chelseas bench last night had Makelele, Ballack, joe Cole, which is just ridiculous.

Yeah. Even Bayern München the richest team in Germany is just a little team when you look at the top clubs in Europe. I read that the EuropeanUnion is working on laws to stop this madness and that a team is just able to use the half of their budget for the players. So Teams like Chelsea won't be able to ask their russian Zhar for more money when they have red bank accounts ;)

Messi's goal was just fucking unreal... fantastic, I even like it better than Maradona's in the '86 WC against England. Though this was wasn't the WC but still pure genious, and he's only 19!!!

That goal was Sick! I can't believe he's only 19 either. It seems like he's been around longer.

As a sidenote I watched and MLS game yesterday. I don't know how the league is still in business. There was maybe 4000 people at the game. The quality is bad as well. Each team maybe has 2 good players and a bunch of scrubs that can't pass.

    That's a fairly obvious statement ;)

But I think Taylor Twellman will be a future US star. We know Donovan doesn't show up in big games. Just ask Bruce Arena.

Even if I'm a Bayern Fan it would be sad to see him leaving HSV because he's the main player of this team.
But if he wants to come to Munich he's welcome :)
