I liked the episode, maybe even loved it. But I thought it was really weird, almost to the point of being uncomfortable.
I know what you mean, but I think that's what they were trying to do with that episode.

Is the spin-off confirmed or just hearsay? Which character will be the main character in the spin-off?

NBC announced it in their fall line-up. The only thing I heard was that the producers of The Office promised that it would not deter them from the quality of the current show

I totally agree with this. I felt like I was at this miserable dinner party.

I laughed my ass off when Dwight drove past his date at the bus stop. It was like he was thinking "I have Michael now, I don't need you lady."

Pretty sure you could have put a **SPOILER** at the top of this post.

Actually, it's more like SPECULATION. All that's been officially posted is that something big happens between Jim and Pam. For all we know that could mean Pam's pregnant, they get engaged, or any multitude of things.

isn't that the whole point of the office? it's all about making us feel as uncomfortable as they do. :)

i loved last week's episode...thought it was one of the best.

I agree. I rarely laugh outloud while watching tv and there were quite a few times last week where I lost it.

It was great to see them come back on all cylinders after the little hiatus.

I watch the show just for Michael, Dwight, and Creed. I don't think it is possible for the show to jump the shark because I really have no idea- nor care- about what is going on in the storylines. I just like to listen to Michael be a complete moron. So unless he quits the show, I will watch.

    RIP Chair Model Lady...

Loved Michael and Dwight singing at the end.... or attempting to sing!

Creed: When Michael get's his new chair, and Pam gets his old chair, i get Pam's old chair. And then I will have two. And I will only need one more.

Michael: hmm Wendy - a hot and juicy redhead, ok let's give this a try.......

What is it like being single? I like it. I like starting each day with a sense of possibility. And I'm optimistic because every day I get a little more desperate and desperate situations yield the quickest results.

Michael Scott is my hero. He verbalized it better than I ever could.

That goes down as one of his classic michaelisms.

I don't watch 30 rock religiously..but that line cracked me up.

awesome episode again. they came back strong after the break.

"You tell him that you're his friend and that you're going to help him and that everything's going to be alright.... And then you put a wire on him, and you find out who's selling him, drugs, and then, you get that and you flip him. Turn him into a snitch. You follow that guy, to people really, really bad. Been watching the wire recently....I don't understand a word of it."
  • Pam: i asked dwight what i should do if he were dead? he said if i'm dead, you have already been dead for at least a week.

I thought about getting a tattoo on my back as well at one point. I was thinking about getting Back to the Future. Back, because it's on my back... and future because I'm the kind of guy who likes to look ahead, into the future. I just think a tattoo should mean something, you know? And it's my second favorite movie.
