Haven't updated how Brandi has been doing. So far she is doing well with no issues at all after breaking her front leg and have it plated and screwed. :prayer: that it stays that way.

Have a little pen she goes into, it has a front gate that can be closed, but it's open most of the time. Went in the room earlier today and found Brandi passed out real good with all four pointing toward the ceiling.

Aww, sweet baby! How did she break her leg?

I have a friend who has a "god dog" and he fell out of the back of his owners truck and broke his leg...he had to have pins and screws put in too. He recovered very well...he's a bully named Dempsey. I adore seeing his pics too. I love animals!

My friend had her in the leather chair next to her in the living room watching a movie, and she let the dog jumped off the chair (think she heard a noise and got spooked and jumped) and she broke her front leg in two places. That was the first time that she has jumped off anything. Don't know if she didn't know how to land correct, or if she just hit just right and broke both the bones in her leg. She is only a little over 4 lbs, and her bones are so tiny, that's why I won't leave her anywhere she has to jump down from. First dog I've owned or the family when I was growing up to ever break a bone/s.

Springing up in the air is a sheltie trait. Scout does it all the time when he's excited. :dog:

^^^^^ that agility dog reminds me of Piper...or not.

Piper is "busy" most of the time but when she wants to relax, she relaxes with her yellow bunny....it's a kid's toy and not a doggie toy and she doesn't chew it up....she just gently gnaws, while moving her paws.

Love the Boo-----dana! And the doggie tummies! Had to come here to cheer up and this thread never fails. once I figure out how to post a pic I'll put my lil terror on view. On the news this morning they showed volunteers taking therapy dogs to the polling places here in the swinging Raleigh NC so people could pet them to relax before voting.

Tonight, coming home after a week of hell, ran into my neighbor with her Shiba Inu. Needed just a bit of dog-bonding time, owner was totally cool with it.

    "C'mon, Cody, say hi!"

First time a dog has ever dissed and ignored me

Brandi wanted to stop by and say hello and say thanks for all the best wishes from when she was hurt (broken leg) earlier this year on her B-Day today. She turned one year old today.
