Cute puppy Buck! Welcome aboard Judy.
  • Well he isn't technically mine but for the last decade he has been a part of my life and family through my best friend. Soze is a sweetheart of the highest order and ever since I moved out every time I go back for a visit he always spent my first night there snuggled up with me. Tonight I learned that his time is coming to an end and he will have to be put down within the next week or two. I can't really imagine going there for a visit and not seeing him anymore. I will forever miss your voice and spirit my Soze.

Sucks to lose a furry friend, even with not technically "yours".

Poor sweetie. Loss of dignity, whether human or animal, so tough for them to endure and for us to witness.

Notice the nice new crate on the left, and the cozy bed on the right. Note the brow lump in neither????

I love that room, wasa! Especially the fireplace.

(and our cats do that too most of the time...typically prefer a damned box to the "condo" we got for them)

    Thanks Hedo!
    I forgot to ask.....
Is anyone doing raw food? I've read so much on what I should and should not be feeding that I'm completely confused. This is where the confusion started......

wasa has a sweet house! and like all of ours, there's doggie crap (not literally) everywhere.

Piper got a bath yesterday and got a lot of lovin' from the folks who came over to watch baseball last night

Petey isn't well, but his best day was today. He isn't eating so doc said give him what he wants and let the medicine protect his kidney's. It is more important he eats. So he had chicken and rice and egg whites today. He loved it.

He is retaining water and has very high blood pressure. As long as he seems happy and doing ok.....

When the kidneys totally go and he can't get the toxins out of his body, he will start to feel miserable and it is time.
