I commissioned a painting of Kasey for my wife for Christmas....the dang thing took so long and now I am not getting it delivered until next week. No big deal, though, as her birthday is just a couple weeks away (this is like the only good thing about her b day falling so close to xmas).
ANYWHO........here I am on Christmas morning opening my gifts from the wife. I get to the last one and it's a rectangular shape.....hmmm.....I start opening it.....I see canvas...uh oh.........followed by paint......dagnabit......yep, she commissioned a painting of our pooch as well. What are the odds?
So I told her I did the same thing and we had a bit of a chuckle. I think mine is going to turn out much better (I know it is because I had to approve it before I agreed to pay for it). Anyway........2 paintings of one pooch. Quite the stately pooch. Here is the pic I am using for my painting. I think it captures everything we love about this dog:

I know some of you are shoveling snow, but here in LA we're raking leaves and preparing for - oh no - rain tomorrow. So Mr. E was raking and made a big pile of leaves and what does Lisa do?
