Fingers crossed for you! Dogs are one of the greatest joys in life. You will wonder how you ever got along without one. :dog:

lol my dog would rip that to shreds and would probably eat some of the stuffing
    i wish it wasnt so..
    wanted to ask
do any of you all brush your dogs teeth
i have considered mine but i guess its
not too necessary as i give my dog
kibble every day and he has many hard
rubber toys he chews on regularly ??

the link didn't work......does this mean cliffy is a daddy? hope so!

JW - we have always tried to brush our dogs' teeth.....shelby LOVED it but not so much with gracie or piper. We do manage to get some done. The reasons? dentals are expensive and they have to put the dog "under" to do them.

The wife brushes Willow's choppers nightly, took a little getting used to, but now she loves it.

sorry for the crummy pictures, but you'll get the idea....Piper had her 3 mo. old friend, Rye, come over yesterday...as you can see, they don't like each other at all

apparently, Rye's AKC name will incorporate "Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp"...a led zeppelin song, robert plant wrote about his blue merle. Rye is going to go for Champion status.

Oh, Rob, way too cute. Puppies!

We've spent the morning at the German shepherd rescue and this dog is in our backyard with Lisa right now. Yes, that's the rescue we use.

    http://www.sheprescue.org/Hirsch von Hugubert.html

5 years old, a treatable eye/skin condition, super ugly cute. Sweet as can be, a farm dog rescue. Right now we're fostering him. And calling him - wait for it - Madison.

Can't see it here but she is skin and bones. So sad. We were a little freaked out at first, to be honest, but we couldn't leave her there. The wife was tearing up. So well behaved so far. Just getting comfortable though.

Oh, Cliffy, she's so cute. Having just returned from a shelter it's so awful to see the condition of some of these dogs. There was a beautiful puppy that had been left at a shelter because she had a broken leg. That's it, a broken leg. What is wrong with people?

    Welcome, Winnie!

Thank you. We're excited. She has been at a shelter for a month apparently (don't know why she hasn't been fed), up from the south. Her tail is also pretty messed up. Looks like it was bitten off and is a bit raw. Once she gets fed and her coat fills in, she's gonna be a looker.
