awesome picks and glad to hear Orbit doing better.

on the homefront, Eds been cleared to do 10min walks with no support as of last night. Except in snow/ice... which i will have to monitor. Its been a mild winter hear so far so i hope to build a little muscle before the snow hits. Been calling him Rice Krispies as his knee has been popping like crazy, happened like the first knee and it'll go away in time.

what is your dogs fav (non-animal) treat? Eds is cheese...cant open the fridge/cheese tray without him by my side in seconds...lol just did it thats why im asking...lol meatball.

Zoe's is Chicken soup. We make it from scratch and the second she heard the tub open, from where ever she is on the house she comes running! Lol

My vet suggested giving baby carrots as a snack because they're good for dogs' teeth. Penny goes nuts when I bring them out. They are her reward when she has do something she hates, like being groomed. She will dance around for them when I'm finished brushing her, then we get to hear CRUNCH . . . CRUNCH . . . CRUNCH.

for sure....baby carrots....Piper seems to be able to differentiate between the lunch meat/cheese drawer and the veggie drawer. She also likes bananas and apples. :P

Carrots sound like a great idea.

We are still in the food honeymoon stage where Lisa hasn't realized that our food could be her food. She's in love with her kibble and puppy treats (and of course eating cardboard boxes and any weird crap she finds in the back yard). The honeymoon will end soon, I fear.

She did discover the cat food. Our two cats live mostly upstairs and we finally let Lisa go up and before we knew it, she was eating the cats' food. So now she'll make a break for the stairs and we run after her. We used to keep the food dishes IN the bathtub, but one of our cats is a recent tripod and can't jump in and out of the tub easily any more.

Jada LOVES any crunchy veggie. Carrots, celerty, romaine lettuce. Only treats in our house!

At Red Rocks Open Space. ( not Red Rocks Canyonwhere the amphitheater is), it's on the other side of the highway from Garden if the Gods, and about ten minutes' drive from where I'm staying. I love it there!
