    ha made me think of when we got our meatball... the rest of the pups ran the other direction and Ed came up to us lifted his paw ... we'll take him...

    Oh, those puppy pix! We're thinking about getting another dog, a sister for Brian. We looked at our favorite German shepherd rescue site and saw this one. (the link for more pix - http://www.sheprescue.org/Betty von Atlas.html) She's like a cross b't Norm and Brian.

    This guy! His name is Stanley. Named after the Cup, of course! He's a 9 1/2 yr old Jack. He had a very bad accident two years ago (got run over in the driveway) and had his hip replaced (three rods, some wire, and a few screws) but he made a full recovery. Definitely one of the smartest and most resilient pups I've ever had. (Photo was taken last week.)

    oh my god! she looks just like norm. cept for long hair...right down to the white cross on the chest...although it looks like she'll be bigger than normie

    awesome pics gang.

    have an awesome story to show you how smart dogs are..which you guys already know...

    My meatball loves to jump when i come home for the ol meet and great at the door. However, since his surgery we have been putting him in his crate when i come home for lunch or after work. So, when i call around 11:55 or 4:55, prior to leaving, he gets up and goes to the crate all by himself...lol The wife says/does nothing but only answer the phone. he lies down, she closes the door, and he starts barking like a mofo when he hears the truck pull up.

    he is coming along, adding more pressure on his leg ( only week2). The area is healing up nicely.

    Haha! Unfortunately I live in Penguins country. They love it when I wear my Toews jersey. Stanley is more of a tennis & baseball fan than hockey.

    wow.....but I'm not shocked.....gracie always seemed to know when it was time to be calm if it was best for her health.

    I miss her so much....yesterday, I spackled some scratches on the wall in the area where she used to squirm around to scratch her back on the floor :(
