I thought it was about time the shelties appeared on these pages again but they weren't very cooperative when I got out the camera.

The pup is exhausted. Dog park for almost 2 hours this morning and a half hour walk this afternoon.

Penny often does a little dance that everybody loves to watch. When I take her to the vet, the staff says, "Penny, will you dance for us?" The only dog I've ever had that likes to go to the vet.

When she dances, she lifts up her front paws like she's pedaling while tossing her head back and forth and barking. I tried to get her to dance so I could video it but naturally she didn't go along all that well. Still this is what Penny does best, trying to be the center of attention:

:D cute video she's really talking to her Mom...

love all the pics each time I come to the thread a guaranteed :D

Poor Faith, she has an abscessed tooth that needs to be removed.
The swelling came on very quickly. I thought it was a snake or spider bite.
My daughter's really worried about her. This her first brush with mortality with
any of her own dogs ...
Faith is getting up there in age now.

  • Aww. I like that pic... the snow falling... she looks all soft :D
Im really glad to hear she's tolerating the treatment well... and it sounds like Gracie has been living life to the fullest the last few weeks with extra trips to the park and even some visitors!
As long as Gracie is happy and feeling good... thats all that matters. And every good day she has is like a big ole "screw you" to the cancer inside! So, take that cancer!

Give Gracie a hug for me, will ya?
I know she doesnt know me... but I sure feel like I know her... but I think that probably goes for all of us lurkers here in this thread.

with the most recent chemo, we have to watch for hemorrhagic cystitis....basically the pooling of toxic pee in gracie's bladder. I got the total WTF look from her when I woke her from a deep sleep to go pee at 3 a.m. :wtf:

Lyla got a bed last night. so we put the bed in our room with her blanket on top of it and she slept there the entire night. I guess we're gonna start weening her out of the crate. I've been doing it for an hour or so while I work in my office. She's been doing great. Too Soon?
