    the one in the middle has NO tail....I believe her owner told me it was run over by a car or some such horror, but they're in good hands now.

    A vet told me once that it's very difficult to treat an adult dog with an injury to the tail. Apparently a large concentration of blood vessels and it's difficult to stop the bleeding.

    Glad they have good homes. :D
