    haha. We've had her for two weeks and she already sits at the door when she needs to go out. It's been amazing how much she's learned in such a short amount of time.

    :shock: I really don't want to hear any more about your perfect puppy ;):lol:

    Happy Birthday Hankerdoodles. You were the best guy ever. Hope you have lots and lots of balloons wherever you are now :)

    Its it weird to miss him so badly after 2 years? I do. I wish I had him to cuddle with me in the mornings before I get out of bed, and to be so so excited to see me when I get home in the afternoon and share big hugs and kisses. And just to love me as much as I loved him. Hankie was my best friend...yeah, you guys are great, but Hankie, he was the best. Weird? I dunno, but that's how it is.

    Awww Jo!! That was Ace and Momo's birthday too! They were my fluffy Valentines! I know how you feel. It's amazing how attached we get to our dogs . I cried more when my dogs died than I did when my biological mother
    passed. Now, when my step mother passes it'll break my heart. Anyhow, hugs to you. I made a collage of all the pics I collected from friends and family of the biys, and it sits in my dresser. I miss them everyday. I am with you on this one!

    Welcome Lyla! You're very cute!!!
    Did you end up getting pet insurance? I've been contemplating it more and more lately, as my Boston is going to be 10 in September! I can't believe he's going to be 10. He really doesnt act any different than he did when he was 3... and that kinda makes it worse. He runs around like a maniac sometimes and I worry about his legs and knees. Last night, he got all excited cuz the snow melted enough so he could finally move around the yard outside of his shoveled area (we got 25 inches!!), and he came back up to the deck flying. Literally hit the deck coming back up, pranced around like nothing happened. We got him inside and noticed he did a number on his dew claw. Had to cut it down. The bleeding stopped, but it could start again anytime if he hits it just right. Im gonna grab some ace bandage on the way home just in case i need to wrap it up, but I cant imagine he'd tolerate that very long.

    I think so. The rate is probably based on age and breed. I haven't gotten insurance yet. I probably should.

    this was zeke, he was only nine. he had a stomach tumor - i wonder if it was caused by pet food.
    if i were ever to get another dog (right now i'm thinking NO) i would only feed it organic raw food.
    i would also make sure i put away 3 grand for medical bills. i know it probably really depends on the
    situation, but i've had pet insurance in the past and it's never paid.
    did you see me? i saw you.

    awwwwww :cry::cry: . zeke was a real cutie.

    I've heard the good and the bad about pet insurance. I think some companies are way better than others. we spent $10K+ on gracie......wish we'd had insurance......but it was worth every penny :mrgreen:

    as for insurance...i pay 40 bucks a month...not sure of the coverage but i think this was one of the better policies...when norm had his knee surgery, it was $4,200...they paid roughly $1,600

    and, as with all insurance, you're still kind of getting f**ked.

    if little normie lives to be 14 (and I'll bet he does), you will have paid in $6720. will they pay that much back to you?

    insurance = :x
