    No disrespect to Dallas or Philly, but is anyone else getting extremely excited over an impending Red Wings vs Penguins match up??? These two teams are both playing knock-out hockey right now.

    To the 2 or 3 people that might care, IHL Finals game 7 is tonight. Soldout game of Fort Wayne Komets vs. the Port Huron Flags (er, I mean Icehawks).

    Should be pretty good to see 11,000 fans cheer on a minor league team.

    You are right. Modano said something to the effect that they need to focus on playing hockey and not being overly physical. Skating around and trying for the big hits isn't going to beat the Wings -- they hafta play hockey. Dallas is always doing the cheap little hits behind the play -- that won't stop Detroit -- it never has. The series is a long way from over, but if the Stars are going to win it'll be because Osgood goes cold.

    Back in '99 Detroit led Colorado in round two 2-0 and the Nordiques came back and won -- anything is possible...

    Another example of reckless play by Dallas was the "hit" Morrow put on his own teamate Lehtinen.
    Great hit.
    Wrong team.
    Lehtinen is probably gone for the series.

    It's over. And that's fine. It was a fun year. Much better than getting put out in the 1st round every year. Stars just do not match up well with the Wings. They are on a whole othere level.

    No. The crowd's behavior was shameful. During the third period the crowd got so quiet that I could hear the Red Wings fans over our own. And then at some point the Stars fans started booing.
