Do you collect anything...It sounds weird but I kind of collect rosary beads...I got a couple from family...some were handed down. Plus I gave a donation to a religious group and they sent me some and you know how it is when you give to a charity...you get on all kinds of lists...So now I have a bunch of them.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

other than pj posters and vinyls, i collect precious moments. they're actually kind of creepy looking to me now (:)) but i've been collecting them since i was a teenager and all of them have been gifts and remind me of cool moments like picking a college or high school graduation...
  • As a child, I collected salt-n-pepper shakers but not anymore and I have no idea where the collection can be found today (thanks mom!).

I guess you could say that I collect crystals, stones, fossils, etc. I am into metaphysical healing and use crystals for various issues in my life.

When I was a kid I collected all kinds of things: teddy bears ( :o ), watches, troll dolls for a brief period during their resurgence in the early 90s...lol... The list could go on forever. Now I don't really collect anything. We don't have enough disposable income to feel ok about collecting stuff these days.

I collect those silly state magnets from every state I've been to. Up to 39 right now. I also do the whole Christmas tree ornament thing too. I used to collect pennants from every state too but that has been replaced by PJ posters from each show I've been to. ;)

    lol, that is so cute!

Well, they are cute and I'm glad to have them, but gee, I don't wanna be the old lady with the doll collection!

People have given them to me as gifts over the years because I do love that little red fluffy monster so but I've had to politely but firmly say I'd prefer him on my pyjamas or t-shirts and not so much another Chicken Dance Elmo or Limbo Elmo or Potato Sack Race Elmo etc, thank you all the same. :)

It's my own silly fault! I get so excited whenever he pops up and I gravitate toward him in shops and on tele, so I guess folk think I must want 400 of him or something. :o I'm real careful now to be nonchalant if he appears in my world and other people are about, just so they don't race out and buy me another one!!! I sound ungrateful I guess, but I'm not, I really appreciate them, but there comes a time when there's something sad about having a toy collection and besides I'm running out of bed space for them all!!! :D

i have quite a few 'collections.'

the biggest is probably boxes. i LOVE decorative boxes, all shapes/sizes/materials. mostly wood and other natural materials, usually arts and crafts or asian in design.

    green teapots.

    hand-blown glass perfume bottles.

books - especially art books, cds, dvds......loads!

chairs. yes, miniature chairs. i actually don't even display them anymore but they were an obsession for a long time, so down in storage in the basement for now, perhaps someday break em out again.

    pearl jam posters.

most of my teapots, perfume bottles even some of the boxes and chairs i've gotten as gifts, during my travels, etc.....so hold a lot of meaning for me.
    Stay with me...

I collect these too. My parents and my ex bring me magnets from their travels as well...so I have quite a few. I group them geographically :o:p

I collect boxes too - and then use them to store the jewelry I collect :) I have wooden, cermic and metal ones - and the majority are from Poland, India and Africa. They've all been gathered on travels (my own or those of friends/family).

I love collecting jewelry - not the expensive precious gemstone kind - but a lot of handmade/ethnic pieces from different countries. My favorite pieces are ones my friend brings back from Armenia. I have a huge amber collection - all different colors/kinds - most of it from Poland.

I wasn't allowed to collect Garbage Pail Kids. I'd bring them home, hide them...and my parents would always find them.
