I'm not religious and I don't pray. I used to pray, though. Never really helped me that much.

I used to do the same...but i guess God is to busy trying to ignore me :o That's why i don't do it often
I feel very close to you all now; so close I could almost... loan you money. Really. it goes that deep.

Does anyone here pray? I'm not really religious in the sense that I go to church, I don't really like organized religion. I was raised catholic..so I still have the lil catholic girl in me somewhat.

I just feel when there is so much crap going on and I tried all the fast fixes, prayer just helps me. I haven't done it in a while but I have been dealing with some bad stuff and I think it's time again.

I've been doing alot of praying lately.

I think prayer can help if you feel it will help.

When I was younger I had job as a musician in a Southern Methodist church and during the service the congregation used to pray as a group about things that people were concerned about. I felt that it was beautiful in some ways.

For example, it helped to have a group of people thinking of the same concern all together, and, it helps the person who needs the support feel less alone, and, I think sometimes individuals get ideas out of the blue from prayer. (Like the gift of a thought from somewhere else.)

At least, occasionally, I did. :)

    That is nice.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
