  • I like the apple apple...

    It tastes like an apple.

What is your favorite apple? :D

I favor red delicous. What are good for baking? I think I heard granny smith.

This reminds me of a little story.

I was about 5 years old in Pre-k I believe... the teacher had us all try some apple slices of varying types. Now, my favorite color is red, so I wanted to like red delicious best. I ended up liking the granny smith ones, though I really don't even like any apples all that much. So we had a little sheet to fill out like what our favorite was and such... I put my favorite as red delicious just because I liked the color red.. ha..

    My stories are boring lol

Golden Delcious, used to be reds, but the apple crop has sucked the last 3 years in Chicagoland and the Goldens have been crisper and better tasting.

I really like the MOtts Pear Apple sauce too ;-)

Haven't read all the posts so I don't know if anyone else has mentioned Honeycrisp - they are huge and juicy and the most awesome fruit you've ever tasted.

i'm not a big fan of apples and i really wonder why a "golden delicious" is called delicious. ugh...

BUT if you ever come across a "kronprinz rudolf" - which will be difficult because it's an austrian apple and you don't even really find them over here - go and get it. that's what i call delicious!
