    I just gave 3 bags full of things to the local safehome last night. I couldn't believe how much stuff I managed to get together that I simply hadn't been using. I find that the older I get the more I feel the need to simplify my life.

    it's hard for me to get rid of everything, but i've gotten much better at it as i've gotten older. some things i can't part witih just for sentimental reasons, but i love the feeling of opening space up and especially being able to donate stuff that can help other people, so that motivates me :) books are a hard one for me to part with. i've been thinking of selling some on half.com or ebay, just to give them a new home and make more room. for more books *drool* haha

    i do get rid of clothes twice a year, usually about 2 or 3 garbage bag fulls.

    i donate them to the Vietnam Vets.

    opens up tons of closet space, then what does my gf do the next few weeks? goes and buys new clothes lol

    yeah, i just bought a new closet for the stuff that doesn't fit into my closet now.........IKEA RULES..........I have issues.

    yeh, I got rid of 3 bags of clothes recently... and about 5 bags of rubbish :o and I'm only half way done... but I'm not giving up cos it feels much better already
