    If he has something wrong with his kidneys, it puts great pressure on the heart because of excess fluid and toxins in the body. This leads to congestive heart failure.

    What are his symptoms?

    it possibly can lead to congestive heart failure. not that always does.

    My thoughts go out to you and your boyfriend. I hope it all goes well. My mum had/has congestive heart failure. For her surgery was not an option as she has a whole host of issues and she came out of that episode ok. All the best.

    ETR the correlation between kidney disease and heart disease is extremely high. Please do not be misguided by misinformation. Here is a link that will help you and your boyfriend. I hope he is doing better and that his doctors are able to give you some answers soon. :)
