I don't know if they offer different packages and areas but the ceremony I saw was in the Venezia Tower pool area. It had a beautiful little stone terrace with a really nice fountain... rose petals scattered on the ground. I think it's right off a big room??? Very classy and the Venezia Tower is -the- place to stay.

I'm sure if you called someone there, they could email you more detailed pictures of the place.

Thanks! I think I decided against the Venetian. They cannot reserve you a Bridal or Honeymoons suite and they dont have any packages that even include a regular room for your wedding night.

I am not doing the Elvis/chapel Vegas thing. I want to try and keep in small and classy.

Secretly eloping at an Elvis chapel in Vegas is totally my dream wedding (I'm not kidding); and I'm a girl! Seriously, I don't know if I'll ever get married, but if I do, I don't want to spend $$$ on a wedding - there are way better things to do with that kind of money! I figure when my new husband and I arrive home, would could throw a casual house party for our friends and family and then say "Surprise! We got married! Consider this the reception...." and then you can keep it casual and fun and not deal with all the usual crap that goes on at weddings.....

p.s. to my prospective husband: you can also skip the engagement ring (or at the very least keep it under $1000) - we'll put the money towards a wicked honeymoon :D

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get married in Vegas!! I don't want a traditional church/reception wedding and Vegas would be my #1 choice I think!! I totally think that you can do it up how ever you want...you can have it classy or cheesy, it's Vegas, anything goes!! I have never been to a wedding in Vegas, but know a few people who have been married there and I've seen videos/pictures from their weddings....they were anything but cheesy. My sister and I also saw a few wedding parties when we were in Vegas last year and they looked like they were having a blast!!! Whatever you decide to do, good luck to you!!!!! :)

    thanks!!

I am bumpin this up again because we still havent decided on the Dinner Location.

i was hoping to get some recommendations.

it is hard to pick the place to eat when you cannot go and sample the food.

We have decided on the mandalay Bay for the ceremony
Nice restaurants there have a very limited menu. I need to make everyone happy.
