Jon & Kate Plus 8

I am so fascinated by them. I've been watching them since the sextuplets were babies! I just love that lil Hannah...I want to put her in my pocket.





P.S. I will NEVER treat my hubby the way she treats Jon. Poor guy...he gets nagged and yelled at like he's just one of the kids.

I can not stand that show! I have 8 kids and I don't understand why it is so hard for her. Now granted I don't have twins and then sextuplets, but I do have one set of twins and one of them is severely disabled. My other kids are closely spaced, except the first two are 10 years apart.
Anyway I had to stop watching when Kate decided they had to switch to paper plates for every meal except dinner. It was just too much for her to keep up with the dishes. She has a freakin dishwasher!! We use real dishes for every meal and I do all the dishes by HAND!
And I can not stand how she treats Jon. And I see that one of the twins is starting to get her mother's disposition.
I LOVE Jon and the kids tho, they are all adorable, yep including Jon!

I have seen a few shows. One of my kids loves to watch it so she will when she sees it is on. And I can hear it from the other room, when she watches, so I have seen parts of other shows.

J & K +8 = my guilty pleasure

created a thread about my love for this show a few weeks ago. its so addicting and those kids are so damn cute! kate can often come off as harsh and sometimes rude, but in my opinion, you can still tell she really, really loves jon & the kids and thinks the world of them. can't wait to see the conclusion of their hawaiian wedding special next monday!!

oh- and aaden is the absolute cutest thing in the world!!!

That is a show that I have recently been interested in as well. Did you see last night's Hawaii Part 1? Those little boys are so darn cute; they make me remember when I had three little boys a head apart.........so sweet.

But yes, after watching it for awhile and having been in the marriage thing that is advertised so heavily and so infrequently delivered to what we thought it would be............I do see them when they are on the couch talking and he is like almost rolling his eyes and she is .......I don't know uptight? I sense tension there........

Isn't he? Did you see the show when he was sneaking the candy from the parade?? On the 4th of July they all went to the parade and they were catching the candy and Kate said, "do you know what the best thing about this is?? you don't get to eat any of it........" (mommy dearest moment there I thought.....) and then when they were on there couch Jon and the camera guys were telling her on Aaden was sneaking candy and then they show him, looking cross eyed at his mom for her to look away and sneaking the candy into his mouth really fast...........so cute........

i'm pretty sure i did see that episode! i just wanna take aaden home with me! he's just so adorable. in fact, all those kids are just adorable!!

the gosselin family is 1 MILLION times better than that crazy, messed-up Duggar family that comes on after them. i CANT STAND watching them!!!

Did anyone see the gum episode? I couldn't watch it, it had me in tears the way she treated the one little boy. Telling him she was throwing away his bear. He broke my heart thinking his mom was going to throw away his lovey.
She is just so controlling.
And I can't deal with her entitlement issues. Saying that she was entitled to a medicaid paid nurse for a year.

The kids and Jon=wonderful, Kate-not so much.

ETA to add the article I was talking about. I swear I don't have it out for her, but have talked about the show on another board I go to and found out a lot about her.

yeah, that is when I shut that station off; I can care less about a bunch of mormons having all those kids; maybe Jon and Kate are just better looking? or is it that I watched the E! channel's cult special and that family just reminds me too much of them?

And as one of the older girls was trying to comfort him Kate was all "Nope, don't care. It's what you get if you're going to eat gum."
Seriously, the kid's 3...shit happens. I understand it's time consuming to do laundry a thousand times a day and frustrating to have to do it when 'unnecessary', but come on...it's not like it was a sock or something. That bear was soooo important to that little boy. :(

P.S. I think that is exactly why I like watching the Duggars. They ARE mormon-ish...and add to my fascination.
