Hmm...I just did a search on my lappy, and I have it! I wonder if it's a free trial or something?

it comes with vista, not a trial.

It's like a physical firewall. Most personal computers have no firewall at all, or occasionally a program installed on your computer that checks things as they arrive.

Rather than having software on your computer that checks after it arrives, this little card receives all the information which then checks the info BEFORE it ever gets to your computer.

Pretty cool :) A bit spendy for a personal user (my opinion) but would be great for traveling business folks that insist on connecting to unsecured wireless networks.

That's awesome! Thank you for the info and translating it nicely. I don't think it's geeky at all! I wish I knew as much as all yous computer savvy people!

Norton and Mcafee are dire - they eat your memory and actually arn't the best firewall.

I dont pay for any of my software becuase im poor so i just pirate all of it and it works fine. But there are many good AV + Firewall out there. NOD32, Outpost, i think Panda security centre is meant to be good. Oh and Kaspersky is good too.
