Anyone else taking this tour off?

I'm going to wait and see if they swing through here (West Coast, South). If there are shows within a descent driving distance and timeframe... I'll go. But, I am never going to make that drive between Los Angeles and San Francisco without a travel day to burn. It was horrible driving from the parking lot at Shoreline after the show to L.A... and hitting L.A. just in time for the morning commute.

Even though I'm doing 7 shows this summer, I'm feeling like this might be my last big PJ tour/road trip.
I've been doing tours since the 90's and usually do 30 or so rock concerts a year (I've been to over 500 shows in my lifetime). The new ticket lottery for rows 1 & 2, getting screwed on 10c tix for both MSG shows, the price of gas, bills, etc are other reasons. Plus all of my friends are getting married, having kids & buying houses. Don't get me wrong. I still love Pearl Jam as much now as I did the first time I heard them. But, at 42 it feels like it's time for this Jammer to get a life.

I can see myself going to less shows next year (probably more Festivals & less single shows). But, I am excited to be taking my 16 year old to his first PJ show in Hartford, meeting up with my old road buddies & seeing our favorite band.

cant afford to go but i have never been to MSG so when i was lucky enough to get a ticket i couldnt not. i will be paying for it for a while as New York is very expensive

After just going to 6 EV shows out west, yes, I'm taking the tour off.

That said, I'm still flying down to Florida for WPB and Tampa.

I guess if there was a new album out i would be more into going to the shows, or maybe a better opening band like MMJ they had last tour. But for you people who got to see either 1 or many of the Ed solo shows, i am forever envious!
