Bummer! I know how that is...my dad worked at a tv station (he's retired now) and he worked every single holiday.

i think turkey is the blandest tasting meat in the world... every other bird tastes better.. pheasant, goose, duck, etc... but turkey is just so bland.

do you guys deep fry it or cook it different.. or are there sauces involved?
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Oh thank goodness! :D I thought it was just me!
I mean you got to slather it in cranberry sauce or get it in a roll with exotic stuffing for me to find it tasty.
    NOPE!!!

I personally like the texture of it - no other bird has its texture; it needs to be smothered in gravy though.

I'll have to ask my cousin what she all did to make it. It was sweet for the most part. It was a yummy dish. :)

But you have it with the main right?
    Like with the Turkey????
And then Pumpkin Pie for finish?
Now Pumpkin Pie I completely get! :D Man that stuff is LOVELY! :)

But a recipe would be good pat. All this talk about it the last couple of weeks leading up to Thanksgiving has just got me MORE curious. :)

Me too!! I already pulled out a cookbook looking for recipes for the leftovers. The bummer is that there is no stuffing left. :( I guess that's what happens when someone is a fantastic cook...not that I'm boasting or anything... ;):D
