I saw something about this in our commuter paper today.
They didn't mention that she is in the middle of a long term contract though.
It did say, however that there is some resentment towards Katie Walsh (addison) from some of the cast over rumours that she is getting a spin off show.
man there is as much drama offscreen on that show as there is on it these days.

I think trolling a thread about a show you don't like is more pathetic than anything.
My wife records all the shows, my best friend, my brother, and my parents watch the shows, so by default, I have a vested interest. There are lots of things in life that I don't particularly like but find fascinating and worthy of discussion. For example, I don't like how my wife wastes her time by watching a soap opera about a bunch of horny and fake interns as they confront the most ridiculous plot lines in television history. Eventually I expect an episode about an orgy that breaks out at Seattle Grace just as a wicked strain of herpes is introduced to the entire hospital staff by one of Meredeth's ex-lovers; maybe Chris O'Donnell's character. The episode will be devoted to saving McDreamy's dreamstick and McSteamy's steemin dispenser. I was disappointed when the shows writers
decided not to eliminate Gray from the show after she fell in the water. What a lame ass episode. What I am trying to say is that television has a lot more to offer than "Groin's Monotony." Well, that was fun for me. Back to real life.

Well, of course everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and I don't agree. Television has a multitude of crap and worthy shows to watch, however you'd be best turning it off and reading a book.
That said Grey's Anatomy is a lovely veg out drama that can be fun to discuss. Which we do.

i dont know what is stranger...the scene in heaven when meredith almost died or the relationship between the black dude and the asian chick.
its getting as bad as a soap on that show.
WTF?
Yeah, i wasn't particularly thrilled w/ their decision to put all that crap in there. It was a much better show this week and a definite return to the older style of greys
"Everyone is a patriot in some form or another.... i prefer the intelligent ones."
I did. I don't like the whole George and Izzy thing. They never had any sparks. I know it's just a show, but this seems a stupid angle.
yeah i know. I thought of the same thing. To me, it is like a brother/sister relationship they had since the first episode. Izzy knew that George had a thing for Meredith and she was supportive of that. She was always right there by George whenever he needed a friend. I remember in the 2nd season, Izzy so badly wanted to have sex, and George, I think told her that he wouldn't sleep w/her gah! Now Izzy has feelings for George, what about Alex?!

I guess she was the only thing they could throw into George's marriage to screw it up. It's crap though.

When is the short black lady gonna get some on screen ass! Everyone else in the show does. Wait a second, did she have a kid on one of the episodes and talk about her Va-J-J? That's just wrong.

This show is like a drug. I've been catching up on some of the random episodes I've missed. Every time I look at Patrick Dempsey I cannot believe the beauty he's become. It still amazes me. *drools*

She's married. One of the episodes involved her husband.

Her name is Bailey, she's married and yes her character had a kid. I dunno if she talked about her Va-j-j, but there was one ep where Addison got poison oak up and around hers (pretty funny stuff)....that was also the same ep Baileys hubby was in.

Amazingly enough, i don't find a single doctor on the show "hot". They're all pretty mediocre to me. I still love the show though.

I cannot get enough of this show. I forgot how good it was when I had to stop watching it this season. Now that I'm caught up, I find myself re-watching certain episodes. Also, no other show has made me cry so much. It's crazy. GREAT.

yeah she did Mel. While she was in labor, George was helping her w/the delivery since her husband was in that bad accident. George looked down on the mirror, and said that her kid had a lot of hair and she said 'stop looking at my va-j-j' funniest moment EVER!!

Hey Nad! Have you heard from the girls about the concert last night??
This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper
Since I've seen you posting in both this thread and the Buffy thread, I was wondering if you noticed that Marti Noxon is an Executive Producer on Grey's now.
Thought that makes a lot of sense as to why I enjoy both so much.
Sorry I can't contribute to current discussion, I'm a week behind on watching the TiVo episodes...

It's Nausea, Oh Nausea, and we're gone. I was posting in my office while my wife sat in the living room watching this pathetic excuse for family entertainment, yes I do mean Groin's Monotony, when I hear Nausea by Beck. Beck is the shit and now I have the Nausea.

I hope Izzy and George end up together. He and Callie just don't seem like the right fit. And Alex certainly doesn't deserve Izzy, although I thought he and Addison were an interesting concept. Mark is a complete ASS and that's all. I love Meredith and Derek as a couple.
GEORGE GOT MARRIED?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Izzy has a thing for George? Godamnit I knew I should've resisted this thread!!!!! I am an addicted ozzie, and we're up to George's dad needing Dr Burke to perform surgery on him. Darn it all to heck, why do I do this shit to myself?!!!!

The guy that sits in the hospital board comes in, all the attendings and the chief are the to examine him, they ask what's wrong, he drops his pants...
Now, DID YOU SEE ANYTHING WEIRD ON THE SCREEN???? The camera was behind the guy as he drops his pants...
I could swear, I saw his penis - or something that looked like it. I was watching with my daughter and even she caught it. She said, "do you think the camera wasn't low enough?" So, since the episode was on DVR, I rewinded and checked... and there was definitely something there.

Is that the song that was playing when they were doing the surgery on the board dude and when Ava was having her kid? Very cool song that definitely caught my attention. Was very curious. Help anyone???
