    Not me, I just did the last 3 days....now I have a week off. I should be up by at least 2000 posts by next weekend.

    I am and I'm a volunteer! It's payroll (input) day and I'd hate to disappoint people. :)

    I normally wouldn't have to work this Monday, but I am in order to have a three day weekend at the end of the week.

    i'll be working...7-4, just like every monday.

    at least we're closing early for nye...and closed on new year's day, which is always the most important part :)

    I'm a teacher, so not me!! :) My Mom does, as does my brother, a cop, who also worked on Christmas Eve and Day (he was lucky not be scheduled on Christmas, but he took the shifts of a guy who had kids ... )

    Honestly, most people I know work on Monday. Most have Tuesday off, though.
    No time to be void or save up on life. You got to spend it all.

    Ha, well I don't feel so bad then, as I work Monday too...9am-7pm. And Tuesday. I work at a dog boarding facility, so while everyone else plays...we are hard at work. Dogs don't care that you have a hangover, they want their breakfast regardless

    Yep, I volunteer at an animal shelter and people are always amazed that the employees are at work 365 days a year. I don't understand. :confused: The animals need food and cleaning, what part of that don't you understand? :)

    I don't, but only because my store closes at 6 and I never start a weekday shift until then...so I got lucky! But I have worked it in the past, and it's always one of those days where you are just dying to get out of work all day.

    At least you love your job, so that'll make it easier! :)

    Moi. I'll be teaching 2 aerobic classes, and doing officework for my business. I don't care. The 'holidays' are not my holidays. Summer, music festivals and shows are my 'holidays', so I work during the conventional 'holidays' instead.

    monday will be the start of my third week off... :o

    Hogmanay is Scotland's holiday.. we get the 1st and 2nd off as stat days... this is because companies and the govt knew no-one would ever turn up on the 2nd of Jan due to still being hammered from the previous 2 days.
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
