The beginning of this story is really boring. Same old shit from the old ones. Drive someone to a place, chase this car, beat up people and collect money. Please tell me it gets more exciting than this.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I'm assuming GTA4 is bigger (more expansive in area) than San Andreas?
Is anybody almost done with the game?Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -

Lots of people have completed it. It's a lot easier than the past 3 GTAs. partly because the gameplay works a lot better (especially the cover and aiming systems) so there are less mistakes due to bugs. The use of taxis cuts down the travelling time within missions, and it's nice to travel around town without having to jack a car. Plus it's less fun to be chased by the cops for various reasons, so there's less time wasting between missions. I haven't completed any of the previous GTAs even though Ive played each of them for 20-30 hours. This one I'm about 3 quarters of the way through in 2 weeks of gameplay, between revision.Paul

fowls wrote:No, it's smaller, about the same size of Vice City. They've avoided having big spaces of nothingness. It doesn't need to be a bigger area, and it never really feels very small unless you're flying around (personally I HATE the helicopters so never fly).

I'd say it's bigger than any of the previous citys personally, obviously not as big as SA as a whole, but easily the size of Los Santos and San Fiero combined. Can not be arsed with life no more.0 -

Yeah, I'd agree. It's much bigger than Vice City, but nowhere near the size of San Andreas.
That said, there is much more packed into GTA4 than the others.
I cannot imagine this game without taxis! That is one nice feature!!0 -

Going from one side of the city to the other in 3 seconds directly to your destination is quite nice.
If I have a nice car I'll drive, but if I don't I'll be hailing a cab. Soooo much faster.
Last night I got Romans driver to pick me up and drive me from one side of the city to the other and I watched the whole journey in the cinematic camera angle.:)Can not be arsed with life no more.0 -

It's in the settings somewhere, it was during playing Uncharted it started really annoying me, in the middle of big firefights and all these notifications kept coming up, ugghh annoying.
But yeah just have look in the settings menu it's there somewhere.:)Can not be arsed with life no more.0 -

Typically the muscle cars are all over the place (usually the best immediately available).
It does aggravate me when there's nothing but station wagons around....0 -
