I went to my 25th and had a great time.

NO ONE brought their spouse (that was the key)..

And "some" of the Hot girls were still smoking hot..

Everybody put on weight, some more than other.. big deal
and everybody had experienced some ups and downs but it was still cool to hang..

As usual, alcohol loosens everybody up (I was the only sober person and frankly nobody noticed I wasn't drinking so I still fit in)...

    I'd recomend it ..

  • just attended my 10 year reunion.....I'll never attend another. Basically, everyone is there to size up where they rank on the success ladder. I started toying with people by the end of the night, saying shit like I dropped out of college, and entered rehab a couple of times. I'm sure it boosted their self esteem.

I skived off of mine, people wern't surprised.
Can not be arsed with life no more.

I heard that the 10 year sucks and after that it's better. People are more genuine and just want to catch up or meet "new" people. Older and more mature is all.

No desire. Hell, I didn't like anybody the first time around, I'm sure nothing has changed.

I don't think these things are all that popular in the UK, they have become slightly more so the last 10 years or so......another thing we've inherited form the US and A :p

btw, I probably wouldn't bother going to mine, if there was one.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

Absolutely. I still see the few people I did like on a fairly regualr basis, the rest of them I couldn't care less about.

I had a fucking blast at my 20th!! :D Like locked said, copious amounts of booze loosened everyone up. Informal cocktail party on Friday night; dinner and drinks on Saturday and more drinking at a local park on Sunday for those who were still standing. We all seemed a lot more alike than 20 years prior.....

I think you're right on this count...I didn't go to my 10 year, mostly because the organizers had an online chat room (!) set up beforehand and everyone was bragging about their jobs, spouses, vacations, etc. I got the picture.

Come the 20 year reunion, I believe, life has set in; everyone's mellowed, and it's less about mine's-bigger-than-yours!, and more about how's-life-treating-you?
  • i never even got a letter. :(

    but i wouldnt go anyway.

  • I didn't attend mine and neither did any of my friends.....actually, I don't even know if one ever happened. Thing is that I am still in contact with any of the people in my class that I would give a shit to talk to and several of us frequently party together or at least talk.

The OP is right though....reunions are nothing but a way of bringing back all the hgh school bullshit that doesn't amount to anything
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

I would have no desire to attend class reunions.
