I was shocked to see Talbot poke check that final shooter in the shootout.

Everyone is on Talbot- but guess what ?> He's a BACKUP !

Its easy to fall into that " why cant he be like Hank " , but that just isnt the case.

I also think the defense has been sketchy all the way thru this streak without Henrik ( and even bouts of it before his abscence )

McD has been okay the last few games and Girardi is a horse, but after that its just sketchy .

There were some fans who kept saying he was better than Lundqvist. And wanted to trade Henrik and have him be the starter. And the defense has always or almost always been bad around Henrik. Under Talbot they played more safe and he didn't have to work as much. But now that he's the starter. They're playing the same way they did around Hank. But luckily for us and Talbot. The Rangers have been playing well offensively this year.

Yea I don't think it's a majority. But there are those that compare him to Richter. And say he's not better because he doesn't have a Cup. If we lose 2-1 or 1-0. It's "he shouldn't have allowed that soft goal." And Talbot had a great year last season as the backup. And you know how some fans get.

I don't know about this trade. John Moore and Anthony Duclair for Keith Yandle. I was looking forward to watching Duclair with us for a long time. But Yandle is a good player. And Arizona will pay half his salary.

    best in the NHL.

something inside of me wants them to finish like 3rd or 4th .
Facing a hungry 8t seed team is frightening, espoecially if its someone like Boston , Montreal or Washington.

What happens if Henrik has to sit out the rest of the regular season AND Talbot keeps playing like he is.
Do you put a cold Henrik straight into the playoffs or go with the red hot Talbot?

I would say they ride Cam out until they can't no more.

Yea I don't care if they finish 1st or 3rd. As long as they're in. And possibly home advantage

if Henrik comes back as his former self you can put him back in. It'll take a few games which they can afford. And if he can't then they have Talbot or Skapski
