Lundqvist's struggles in Montreal are well documented. I get he is playing on a whole different level right now but what if he has a bad game 1? Will we see Talbot in game 2 to rest Hank for 3 and 4?

Talbot did play all the games the rangers played in Montreal this season?

As much as I would like two wins at home over NYR I don't think the season issues can be more than a consideration in the playoffs. It's a different season altogether.

That said if he tanks in game 1 there might be a reactionary goalie change for Gm2 based on the regular season stats.

Although it's nice to have 7 goals a game. Scared that they'll think that's enough and won't score for the next 2 games

That's how you make a statement in a game one on the road.

But yeah, hope we didn't use up all of our offense in just one game
  • Bathgate66Bathgate66 Posts: 15,813
    wow- even Nash scored.

    hope Brassard is okay.
That hit by Weaver knocked him off the bench eventually.

went to the viewing party at Local West right next to the garden .
It was pretty fun and they were giving alot of swag away.

Holy fuck balls Billy's. What in the hell?

    Price is done.
He will not return to the Conference Finals.

I sure hope if Brassard doesnt return ,
that both Dorsett and Carcillo are ready to rumble because
Le Canadiens de Montreal are going to be pissed off !

In particular Brandon Prust , who obviously has a personal issue here.

    w-o-w.

the rangers do struggle against back up goalies though and always make mediocre goalies look fantastic.

they have to stick to the game plan regardless of who is in net.

I just read AV tinkering with the lines, sitting Brassard and putting Dominic Moore in between Pouliot and Zucc,......while Boyle is centering Carcillo and Dorsett.

Habs will definitely retaliate. And either Lundqvist or Kreider will not make it through this series.

that'd be very shitty. and what is kind of funny is that no one is talking about the canadian's late head shot to brassard away from the play causing him to miss tonight's game and maybe more?

dustin tokarski, the canadian's third string goalie is getting the nod in net tonight.

this can be concerning based on NYR history with 2nd and 3rd string backups. :-SS

Best part, after the game the coach flat out said kreids didn't do it on purpose. Pruster WAS ON THE ICE when it happened and did NOTHING. Now they're trying to use this as their "moment" and rally around each other. Come on guys, total bull shit. Let's play the series the right way. Let's go rangers!!!!!! Oh and I think hank can handle his crease just fine boys! Let's do this!!!

brutal two handed slash on mcdonagh, st louis gets slew footed in front of the net, and a hearty LOL at prust trying to knock into lundqvist in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR1oV8ozha4

frustration has seeped into the canadian's minds. let's bury them two straight at the garden and send them packing.

indeed. you spot a guy like lundqvist three a game, you are going to walk away with a win 98% of the time.
