A Kaleta suspension is in order,..,
but then again its a Ranger ......
so they may likely turn the other cheek like they did with Pacioretty.

    He'll probably get a $500 fine

it was dirty. No more dirty than Girardi's... but Ennis decided for some reason not to lay on the ice and writhe around for 5 minutes.

As far as what Staal said, id like to see him fight Kaleta. Kaleta does drop the gloves and does very well. A lot better than Staal. He also gets decent minutes, and kills penalties. The Richards incident was on the PK. Kaleta a few years ago was just an agitator who played goon minutes and just hit everything he could. He actually has some versatility now.

    I respectfuly disagree.
    That was a 2 minute minor ,
versus a 5 minute major and game misconduct.
The body position in both hits was remarrkably different, as well.
How do you even compare the 2 hits- a crosscheck to the back into the lower boards versus an interference, shoulder on shoulder hit ?

Uh oh Shanahan has more work to do. Guess he will just flip a coin and decide how many games to give Kaleta.

If Richards is hurt it will be more games.

I'm reading its only a telephone hearing for Kaleta today ,
and this means only a max of 5 games suspension,
    if they go that route.

Strang: Rangers have signed free agent forward Josh Nicholls. The 20-year-old winger has 41 goals and 32 assists for Saskatoon Blades this season.

brutal. watched it once and couldn't watch it again. half visor would have saved him there, can't believe more players in the league don't wear them. especially D-men when you are posted in front of the net.

he was fun to watch in hartford going to miss him here...lol. Kreider got 2 goals last night and whiffed on shootout. Seemed a little lazy at times but played good game. Mashinter needs to hit more, Newbury is a great AHLer, I could swear I see him foaming at the mouth at times and played with Kreider and Pyett last night.

I came home to watch highlights as recording NYR/Fly didnt work. How was Haley?

Haley got little playtime, but he was almost involved with Hartnal from the Ranger bench.
Bickel actually rabbit punched Hartnal , and Hartnal seemed to blame Haley. They had some words .
