Good luck -- to you and the boys on the ice.

Losing Cally last night was a big blow, but the goals by Frolov and Anisimov were good signs. If those guys can get going on a consistent basis (even if it's just a well-timed streak) and Drury returns to form, the Rangers should be able to keep it up. Oh, and Avery is going to have to step up the physical play while keeping a cool head. (Don't know if that last bit is possible.)

Indeed, it is. And your boy, Cliff Lee, is my hero right now! That is, until the Sox face him in the World Series. At which point, he can fuck right off.

    No, that was Mariano Rivera,
    in a NYR hat,..
and it was good to hear him with Trautwig
dissing the Red Sox right out in the open.

I don't know why. We love Mo. He practically handed us the 2004 pennant on a platter. I was among the 35,000+ who gave him a standing O at Fenway when he was announced at Opening Day 2005.

OK, but you know that was just to drive up the price, right? Like when Assman took Crawford out to dinner.

OK. Back to the Blueshirts. Big game today. So who's gonna wind up injured? Always happens vs. the Bullies.

Hopefully, we've reached our quota with injjuries.
Not only missing Cally, but we may actually miss Boograd today as well.
I read on the ticker last night that Pronger is out with a broken hoof,
so we can take that into the match as well.
    Love these matinee games.

    I wouldn't say choked

To choke you have to be favored or at least leading in the game..neither of which were true

These series usually even themselves out..although the Flyers are 10-2-3 on the road so we may whoop up at MSG also
