How do you like it? How quick is your internet access? What kind do you have?

I dont mean the fruit.

I have the one that was out before the most recent one. It's alright nothing to special. Not really great for internet browsing but really good for e-mailing and texting and things like that. Its only really worth it if you in a line of work that requires you to keep in contact with alot of contacts and save alot of information on them. I also really like the calander feature but i don't know if i'll buy one again. I"ll probaly look at the new I-phone coming out.

I want one, or something like it, for internet. Not really browsing, but for personal email, pjnews, and baseball scores. Do you think it would be ok for that?

I have the Moto Q. I like it but I need to upgrade the software. It's Windows based :( but the upgrade should fix some of the problems. It's great for email, contacts, calendar etc. And I have browsed and even posted here from it. I know, I'm pathetic. :)

How quick is your browsing? Was it easy to post here?

Supposedly after the software update it will be better. But when I did post it wasn't too bad. It's a slow process but when your stuck somewhere it's a great port in the storm. :)

    you love it.

It produced a big smile, and the funny thing is, I see myself repeating it.

  • iphone comes out in June.

I just got done borrowing a blackberry from work. I hated it. You're much better off with a Smart Phone/Pocket pc like the treo or the samsung Blackjack.

Oh, and the Blackberry Pearl is fun. It does text and email better than actually calling and talking I find.

I have the Samsung Blackjack and I love it. The web pages load pretty quick, and the e-mail system works pretty well. My only complaint is that a couple times a day an old e-mail that I have already read shows up as a new e-mail.

I have a Verizon Blackberry issued from my work and I can barely leave the house without it now.

When I went to the Gorge in Sept 05 and last summer for the PJ shows, my cell phone couldn't get any reception out there, but my Blackberry was goin' strong.

    I'm addicted.

  • The only reason I have one is because I'm required to for work. If you don't need one for that, I wouldn't reccomend it.

I'd avoid the Treo 700... a friend of mine had one (well, actually went through 3) for about a month and had all sorts of problems with it crashing, locking up and loosing everything. Apparently from what the rep at verizon was telling him, that it was rushed to the market before all the bugs were out, and has been plagued since.

I like the looks of the Q, but I have never used one...

I have the pearl...hehe..PEARL...yeah, I'm that much of a dork. I freakin LOVE it. It is my calendar, my phone book, my schedule, my music, my computer - oh yeah, and my phone. Seriously, I am addicted and can't live without it. It's quick once you connect as long as you have good signal, which is almost anywhere I've been. It would suck if you have big hands, b/c the buttons are small, but my hands are small, so I'm good. My only HUGE complaint? I can't seem to connect to the PIT on it!!! But, I do have access at work and home when I need it. Lol...I can go a few hours without being here...usually!

I have a Q. I need to be accessible to certain clients 24-7, so it serves a purpose, but I have now become addicted to the damn thing. Its nice to be able to get emails at all times, so that I do not get overwhelmed by them (biz ones) all at once!
