It should be a great series. I'm pulling for the Wings, but both teams are playing very well right now. It will be an even match up talent-wise, but I give Detroit the edge in experience.
A healthy Mule could swing the balance in favor of the Red Wings. Otherwise, it will be a very tight series.

kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.
I'd wager you can kiss the fattest part of my butt.

I hope this will be a great series, because the last two rounds of the playoffs have been a total dud.

me too, although game six of the stars-sharks was good. and so much for that theory that anything can happen in the playoffs this year as both top seeds will likely make it.

whoops well still pretty predictable, although a sixth seed did get to the conference finals.

It's amazing that the Pens have only lost once and the Wings twice (-0- since going with Osgood). That's not even enough losses total to even lose a series! Sonething's gotta give! Should be interesting!!!
"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." Mark Twain
Penguins have been very impressive so far .....particularly the shut down game 8 shots through two periods!!! last night ....they have come so far since last year. Reminds me a lot of the early 80's Oilers .....that said I don't think they are yet at the level of Detroit. Detroit has completely dominated their last two opponents in every aspect of the game!
I will be cheering for the Pens but I think Detroit will take this cup .......but barring significant injuries or player movement expect to see the Pens hoisting the cup next year and more years to come!!!

if penguins can keep the team together for the next bit, i say they win 3 out of the next five, but this year its detroit. can you say powerhouse. really, they are just crushing every game. it is not sid's turn, yet.

Both teams are hot but I think Pittsburgh is too dominant in every phase of the game right now.
It will be fun though since they didn't meet during the regular season.
