Last hair cut I had was two or three years ago. I think I've only had three or four hair cuts in the last six years. And at least two of those were done for free by a girl I know .
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

haha maybe yeah :D I vaguely remember a thread like that. To be fair, I don't play video games regularly at all. I have no TV at uni. I had to stop playing FFVIII back in 2006 because I was losing entire days without realising it  so I dedicate my time to growing my hair now... :p Easily a good 3 inches below my shoulders now.

Lol, yeah I realize I have been talking about final fantasy non stop, i haven't played it since like 03 I think.

I don't play video games much anymore either, I used to be hooked on World of Warcraft when I got my computer, but I've kind of lost interest lately, i've only played a couple times this month. I might not renew my membership next time around.

My hair is down to my shoulders and the back goes a little further.

EDIT: Actually I played the game like a summer or two ago. :p

Where do you go J? I fucking hate getting haircuts down here! Every single place I go the same thing happens:

Me: I want a one blade on the side and back and a trim on top
    Guy: You want a one?
Me: Yes I want a one.
Guy: You sure you want a one, that's very short?
Me: I'm aware that it is short, I like it short, please use a one.
Guy: (Speaking to the owner in their native tongue)
Owner: You want a one, you sure?
Me: Yes I want a one.
Guy: Ok (begins to shave sides). How does that look?
Me: It looks longer than a one, what is it?
    Guy: It's a one and a half.
Me: (Takes a deep breath while trying not to grab the first sharp object I see and proceed to stab person in the neck while making a mental note to never return to this place again).

I kid you not, this has happened at every place I have tried here both barbers and stylists alike.

    and to finish this thought,,,
most of the places down here by u deal w/ a "downtown" crowd
not big into fades, shapeup's etc.
where as my place deals more with an "urban" look lol
which is kinda what u want to get
these guys down here dont no what a "1" is
    they're more used to scissors

    this is my thought anyway

did u ever go to dom ,down the train station on fulton next to strand?

Nope. Everytime I tried to go there he's been closed. Is he any good? I've went to the guy across from strand with the same results. I think you're right with your belief of the "crowd" down here.

Happens to me all the time too. Although, most times they cut it at 3 and I have to say to go down to the 1 like I asked.

I get my hair cut every 2 or 3 months...sometimes longer. My hair is wavy and frizzy, so when it starts to look like the whaffro, I go get it cut.

Every week is pretty harsh, I'm just gonna call you the message pit chia pet from now on!
Seriously though, I go about every 4-6 weeks, depending on when I start to get annoyed.

That would explain the Old Spice pat down I received when I got my cut there.

There's tight and neat and then there's obsessively tight and neat :) once a week is a bit excessive. It's just hair.

That sounds like how I get my hair cut, BUT.. after a week I can't even tell it has grown. Maybe 2 or 3 weeks I notice growth, but not a week.. and stylistically they say you are supposed to get your hair cut 2 weeks before the event or occasion you are cutting it for, because thats when it looks its most natural... as far as "fro" phase I would say you'd definitely have to go atleast 2 or 3 months for that. The longest I went without a cut was 3 1/2 months, but even then, gel could make it look tight, clean and professional.

Unless your hair grows two inches a week.. thats another story.
