i've caught two, had one land in the seat next to and another one trickle down the line to within reach during batting practice.

Ok let's see I made a one hand a line drive foul ball on the far 1st base side. It was great cause my daughter almost got a foul ball a few pitches earlier a fat kid bump her out of the way. She was almost in tears until I handed her that ball then after the game she got it autographed.
I caught another ball thrown up in the bleachers by a Red sox catcher. I dove infront of my freinds and caught that ball backhanded with my eyes partially closed. I must say it a great catch.
At a DC United game I caught a soccer ball that came up in the stands however we have to throw those back in. i gather those balls must be expensive.
Lastly at a concert L A Guns opened for either ACDC or Def Leppard I can't really remember. After their set the drummer whipped his drum sticks out into the crowd and I caught one and the other flew under my seat. I grabbed it too but I gave one to a beauty that was sitting behind me.
I remember now it was ACDC's Thunderstruck World Tour. It coudn't have been Def Leppard Rick Allen drums with one stick.

I was in Toronto against the Yankees...someone on toronto fouled it off and the guy next to me caught it and he gave it to me (I was 10 at the time)
I was at Yankee stadium when they played the Indians and Kenny Lofton hit a foul ball to me, went right into my fathers lap, he had no idea what was going on, ahaha

Never have, but I've been close a couple of times.
The closest was when I was at a Charlotte Knights (AAA team) game. I was sitting in an aisle seat behind first base about halfway back in the lower deck. A foul ball was hit to the section right next to mine, same row as I was sitting. There were 3 people at the end of that row and the ball wound up hitting in the middle of that row. It hit the concrete and then bounced back about 10 rows or so. If those people hadn't have been sitting there, I would have cut across the aisle and make the catch. Oh well....
the best catch ive ever seen by a fan was that dude who on monday nite football during a bears game, leaped over the railing to catch a kevin butler FG that had gone over the net. that was honestly one of the best catches ive ever seen-- by fan or athelte.
In back to back shows I touched matt's drum sticks when he tossed them out into the crowd. I butterfingered them each time.
In 98, at busch stadium, I butterfingered a gary shetfield homerun ball. It bounced into my hat and out.
In 2001 or 2000. Pujols' first season. I asked my high school friends who wanted a soda bc i was thirsty. I walked about 10 feet turned around and asked if anyone wanted a pretzel while I was away. Just as I turned around Pujols hit his 5th career homerun right through the spot where I was standing. It was out at "Homers Landing" at the old busch.
At a st. louis professional roller hockey game in 94... The Vipers @ the old barn/arena. It was the last even ever at the arena. I reached out to grab a jersey that one of the players tossed into the crowd. Instead I got a guys hair piece off his head. I was 11. It was very funny.
I go to alot of Cleveland Indians games each year and have never caught a ball. I normally sit pretty close, but still nothing. Once in 2003 when the team was bad, I went to the game with 3 friends and we moved down 6 rows so we could get a closer view. Within an inning of doing that, a ball was hit directly where my old seat was. I was so mad
Over the years in Section 39 RF bleachers at Yankee Stadium I caught around 80 batting practice balls, but haven't gotten one since 2005 or so.
I have three home run balls, one by Lofton in '98, O'Neill in '99 but both were scrambles after someone from the stadium threw it up into the bleachers when the ball landed in that pit which is now wheel chair seating.
The one that stands out though was Old Timers' Day 2005. Bottom of the 9th and the Yankees are down two to Cleveland, Bob Wickman on the mound to close it out, Ruben Sierra leading off. He hits one of those shots that I knew right off the bat was coming towards me. I stand up from my seat that's right next to the aisle and from previous experience expecting to get shoved from behind hard. It didn't happen this time though, then I hear the thud of the ball hitting someone's hand. I start to look down on the ground hoping to beat the scramble, but after a few seconds I see that the ball the whole time is in my left hand. So the best catch I ever made was one hand on the fly, and didn't feel a thing or even notice it happened to well after the fact.

O's - Royals last summer. Tracked down a foul ball and caught it in the outfield bleachers. Didn't realize it, but i ran over a little kid in the process, so i felt bad and gave it to him.

last year in the 1st inning chipper jones flied out to pat burrell who then threw the ball in the stands right to me. Then later in the inning chase utley lines a ball like 3 rows behind i turn around and the ball rolls right to me. 2 in the same inning and 0 in my previous 30-50 games lol.
and i must have had 1,254 vodka/lemonades out in the bleachers.......
hey that's my drink of choice at the ball park too A friend of mine and i used to go to the bar and the bartender would make us up a big old batch of them and we'd sit in the right field bleachers and just soak up the sun and enjoy the game with some nicely mixed cocktails.
I never caught a ball, came close at a game I was at in KC, but it didn't happen
When i was 20 i went to the Skydome and during batting pratice, i think it was Paul O'Neil drove a ball down the 330 area were we were sitting and banged off the chair beside my mother, and it rolled to her and she picked it up.

I was late to see an NCAA Tournament baseball game in 2003 between Texas and Florida State. As I was approaching the gate behind the left field bleachers, I heard a distinct ping and could see the fans stand up in their seats. I looked up and the homerun ball bounced about 10 or 12 feet directly in front of me, off the pavement, and into my hand.
Then I carried the ball to the gate, punched my ticket, and went in to see the game from my seat.
No such major league experiences to report, though I've gotten foul balls and homeruns from spring training BP. Usually give those away to the kids at the ballpark, though.

Never caught a baseball, but I did end up with an Arena League football. The pk kicked a game-winning field goal, and the ball traveled into the crowd. Two fellas were trying to catch it, but it bounced out of their hands and into mine.
no, kinda came close a few times. Got a hockey puck once and a Philadelphia Bulldogs roller hockey puck once.
