Tuned into NBC last night, as Canada doesn't have great coverage of the Olympics, unless you like rowing and lumberjack type events.....

Anyway, I caught his interview with Bob Costas last night. Is it just me, or is it kind of evil that he is able to talk about war and human rights atrocities with that stupid grin on his face?

Maybe it's just me..........

  • Oh no, my friend. It is not just you. The scary thing is Cheney makes Bush look like Bambi compared to him, and he is the REAL power behind the scenes.

The scarier thing is there are worst people than bush and cheney that are really pulling the strings.

It's not just you. I almost threw a glass at the television, I was so angered by his simpering, smirking behavior. Even if we try to overlook his lack of moral authority to comment on the behavior of Russia or China, his utter lack of gravitas freaks me out. He looks like he's not even trying to act presidential anymore.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.

did he ever act presidential? i have my doubts....
  • He sure does seem to be having a good time in China at the Olympics. Kind of feels like he's just coasting through the rest of his term.....

I do, too; in the past, though, I sometimes thought he was trying -- not anymore.

I think some of it just comes from his upbringing history etc.

He's a Texan. Everything has to be the biggest and best. My way or the highway... etc.

To him he really believes everything he does or says is the best course of action... he is being presidential from his persepective.

The majority of his issues come from his interpersonal relations. I don't think he's trying to be a dick. He just is to some people due to their perception of him. That's his nature.

Most if not all politicians are horrible interviews because they never say anything relevant the content is nonexistant. He is just that much more grating due to his delivery. Not only is he not going to say anything he's not very good at that either.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

I guess that makes me, and many others in this country, trend setter because I didn't like him from day 1. The rest of the country just took their time catching up to us.
